Your Site ID appears in the upper-right corner of your Site Settings page. This is a unique identifier for your site that can be helpful when contacting Support and reporting errors. It is also useful if you want to report an error in the Support forums but do not wish to share your site’s address with the rest of the community.

Your Name, Site Title and Category

By default, the email address that was used to sign up for your site account will appear as Your Name.

Site Title is what visitors will see when your site appears in search engine results.

NOTE: When changing your Site Title, as well as updating any meta-information or content on your site, it will not be updated in search engines right away. It may take awhile for your new information to be indexed depending on the search provider. This is not controlled by Webs.

Site Category classifies the type of site you own.

Social Mode

With Social Mode turned on, visitors can join your site as members and participate in forums and other social tools.

For example, if you have the Members, Forums and the Blog applications installed, visitors will not be able to interact with these applications as members if Social Mode is not set to ON.

Setting Social Mode to OFF will deactivate any member login or signup modules and prevent members from being able to comment on posts.
